Her eyes were closed, but she wasn't focusing what-so-ever. She never could. She always had to be moving. Always. And Mako's presence wasn't helping, especially when he seemed better off in this meditation thing than she was. And this was his first time meditating; today was her twenty-second, or something. She had lost count after eighteen. Defeat irked her. Stupid firebending cool guy, you have to be that calm and focused with those eyebrows.
Korra glanced at him again in the afternoon sun. He looked so calm, but the calmness looked forced.
He opened one eye to peer at her, making his eyebrow arc up in a "hmm?" gesture.
His eye closed and he inhaled. "No."
She sat back with a humph. A smirk appeared on Mako's face and after a moment he said, "Are you?"
